Weekly/Daily departures
This is a short but well-planned safari that is not too rushed and introduces you to the beasts of nature. It takes you to Kenya’s most popular game reserve renowned for the Wildebeest Migration. You will later proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park which is one of the world’s greatest ornithological sites. And finally, it takes you to the slopes of Mt Kenya across the equator to Sweetwaters Game Sanctuary, the only park with a Chimpanzee Sanctuary in Kenya.
Day 1: Nairobi - Olpejeta Conservancy
Departing from Nairobi after breakfast, you'll make the drive north to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Home to both the Big Five and the Special Five (Grevy's Zebra, Rothschild Giraffe, Besia Oryx, Somali Ostrich, and Gerenuk), the conservancy offers a fantastic game drive experience the likes of which you won't be able to find in other parks. There are then a variety of activities that visitors can choose from for their afternoon such as lion tracking, visiting the chimpanzee sanctuary, visiting Baraka, the blind black rhino, or exploring the Education Centre.
You'll then overnight within one of the park's lodges or camps.
Day 2-3: Olpejeta Conservancy
Start your day with a morning game drive to see the conservancy's residents in a different light. Alternatively, you may wish to try one of the activities or wildlife experiences the conservancy offers to its guests.
Day 3: Olpejeta Conservancy - Nairobi (Departure)
You'll return to Nairobi in the early afternoon.
