Weekly departures
This is a short but well-planned safari that is not too rushed and introduces you to the beasts of nature. It takes you to Kenya’s most popular game reserve renowned for the Wildebeest Migration. You will later proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park which is one of the world’s greatest ornithological sites. And finally, it takes you to the slopes of Mt Kenya across the equator to Sweetwaters Game Sanctuary, the only park with a Chimpanzee Sanctuary in Kenya.
Day 1: Mombasa (Arrival)
You will be met upon arrival in Mombasa and transferred to a hotel in Mombasa. This enchanting resort is set on the glistening coastline of Malindi. Exotic and tranquil, these relaxed beach holidays where you can really unwind. The luxurious rooms are spacious and elegant, providing a soothing respite at the end of the day. There’s plenty to do here, whether you want to relax on the beach or pool or explore the neighboring sights.
Day 2-3: Mombasa
On these days you will have the chance to relax on the beach and make the most of the facilities in your stunning beach hotel.
Day 4: Mombasa - Tsavo
Today you will wake early as your African wildlife adventure begins. You will be collected from Dreams of Africa at around 06.30. Your arrival time at Tsavo East National Park will be approximately 09:30 in time for your morning game drive. You will check into Aruba Lodge (or similar) in time for lunch and then have time to relax and take in your beautiful surroundings before your afternoon game drive at 16:00. After enjoying a stunning African sunset, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Tsavo
Wake up at 06.30 for your early breakfast and morning game drive. The lodge is located on the banks of the Aruba Dam. Several watering holes nearby attract wildlife and spotting animals is easy because the park lies flat with Savannah grassland. After lunch, you will have another chance to relax by the pool which overlooks the game park. The perfect place to drink in the calm of your surroundings. This afternoon you will enjoy another game drive followed by dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 6: Tsavo
Wake up early for breakfast followed by your final game drive on route to Sala Gate. You will arrive back at your hotel in time for lunch.
Day 7: Tsavo
More time to relax and enjoy the facilities of your beautiful hotel whilst reminiscing about your days on safari.
Day 8: Departure
You will be transferred to the airport after breakfast for your flight home.
